Tuition and Fees - Returning Student

Addition expenses include:
text books/supplies (list provided in mid-July), nominal material fee (specific to class), National Latin Exam fee (if applicable - paid in January), fundraising ($450; various options available to raise funds), fingerprinting fee (all volunteer parents must be fingerprinted), HSLDA membership (recommended) and Covid-19 safety supplies fee ($20 per family). Families may opt-out of the required 8 hour/month parent volunteer effort during the program year ($900) or choose a combination volunteer effort 4 hour/month ($500) - the Academy relies on parent volunteers to help maintain reasonable tuition costs. All families with more than one enrolled student are encouraged to have multiple computer devices available at home (i.e., laptop or Chromebook). If the Academy is required to transition to online instruction for a period of time, the Academy online hours will likely overlap for families with multiple students. The Academy is planning to be on campus. This information is provided as a backup plan.
Note: The 2020 California private elementary school average is $11,402 per year and the private high school average is $19,888 per year.
